October 2024
Having originally joined Llewellyn-Jones (formerly Llewellyn Jones and Armon Ellis) in February 1989, Miss Delyth Geraint Williams has made the decision to retire from the firm and step down from her role as Director on the 31st October. With mixed emotions, we celebrate the 36 years of service Delyth has given to Llewellyn-Jones. She has seen many changes over the years, throughout which she has successfully developed our Ruthin Office with unreserved commitment to meet the needs of the local community and where she has fostered and maintained our generational client base.
Our Miss Nerys Wyn McKee will be joining the Ruthin team to head up the office where she will be permanently based from the 1stNovember 2024. There will be a smooth transition, and our Ruthin office team will continue to deliver our high-quality service, tailored to meet the needs of our clients, and maintain our highly regarded local reputation and our strong loyal Ruthin client base.
August 2024
We are thrilled to introduce Rio Jones who joined our team as a Paralegal in August 2024 and will undertake work in Conveyancing and Private Client.
Rio has completed her first year as a CILEX paralegal and is training to qualify as a Legal Executive, and then transition to become a Solicitor. We are very much looking forward to seeing her career progress here at Llewellyn-Jones.
We are so pleased to welcome Rio on board as part of our successful team.
July 2024
We wish to congratulate Lucy Pughe upon her graduation from the University of Manchester having achieved a 2:1 degree in Law.
Lucy joined our team as a Legal Assistant in June and to date has shown great enthusiasm and work ethic, and we are very much looking forward to seeing her career progress here at Llewellyn-Jones.
On 10 July 2024, we also welcomed Clare Lewis to our team here at Llewellyn-Jones. Clare is a Licensed Conveyancer and is based at our Mold Office.
Clare qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2016 and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing.

On Friday, 5 July 2024 with mixed emotions of happiness and a new chapter and a sentimental fond farewell and reflection, we celebrated the retirement of our Practice Manger, Janet Pealing.
She started with us back in 1995! Her time with us started as a temp for the now HHJ Niclas Parry, with a prompt promotion to his PA and then a further promotion to her role as Practice Manager.
Jan was a long standing and trusted member of our team and she will leave very big shoes to fill. She was not only a colleague but a friend to many of us and she will be hugely missed. We wish her a long, happy and fulfilling retirement.
June 2024
We are pleased to introduce Kathryn who joined our team as Practice Manager on 25 June 2024.
Kathryn qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. During her legal career she has worked as a regulatory compliance consultant and practiced as a professional practice solicitor. She also spent a number of years outside of legal practice running her own businesses, before returning to law as a business analyst at a leading local law firm.
We are very pleased to welcome Kathryn on board as part of our successful team.

We are delighted to announce that Lauren Thomas has been promoted from a Paralegal to a Trainee Solicitor as of today, 15th May. Lauren joined us in December 2023 and we wish to congratulate her upon her promotion which is testament to her hard work since joining us. Lauren has worked very hard and has shown great enthusiasm and commitment.
Lauren will undertake work in the Family, Conveyancing and Private Client departments during her period of training and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
The firm’s strategy for growth is based on finding exceptional young talent and allowing them to develop. We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our team members.
We are very excited to see Lauren progress with her training and career here at Llewellyn-Jones.

Our Miss Chloe Roberts, who began working as secretary whilst undertaking her LPC in 2017, has been appointed as a Director of Llewellyn Jones Ltd. Her promotion is testament to her hard work, loyalty, and commitment to our firm, we are privileged to welcome her into a management role.
Further News;
Having joined originally Llewellyn Jones and Armon Ellis in 1977 Mr Dion Williams has made the decision to step down from his role as Director. He will remain as a Consultant to the firm, working three days a week.
Miss Delyth Williams, who joined the firm in 1989, will also be taking a step back however she will currently remain as a part time Director at Ruthin office on reduced hours, three days a week.
Our Mrs Colette Fletcher who joined the firm as a trainee in 1998 becoming junior partner in 2004 has been appointed Managing Director and has overall supervision for the firm, and comments;
‘We congratulate Chloe upon her appointment, she is a huge asset to our management team, we are extremely proud of her fast-tracked development, her promotion is announced on what is the anniversary of her Qualification only 3 years ago. We are also celebrating the 46 years of service that Dion has given to Llewellyn Jones in Mold and the 34 years of service his sister Delyth has given to Llewellyn Jones in Ruthin, after 4 decades practising in the legal profession both have seen many changes over the years and have successfully developed our firm to respond to all challenges, remain current and competitive in the changing market and have maintained our highly regarded local reputation and our strong and loyal client base in Mold and Ruthin areas respectively.
We will continue to work together collaboratively with all of our team here at Llewellyn- Jones to ensure a smooth transition and to carry on providing our high-quality service tailored to meet the individual needs of our loyal client base which is the lynchpin of everything we do and seek to achieve’.
